Plan a UBC Sauder alumni event. We’ll help fund it.

The UBC Sauder Alumni Activity Fund gives you the opportunity to bring fellow UBC Sauder alumni together wherever you are!

Whether you're organizing a coffee catch-up, a group hike or a local dinner, you can apply for up to $200 in funding to support a self-hosted alumni event. Events can be as casual or creative as you like.

Need inspiration? Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Meet for happy hour with fellow industry professionals
  • Enjoy a zero-waste picnic with alum passionate about sustainability
  • Have a social at an ice cream shop
  • Paint your own pottery with alum that work in the creative industries
  • Attend a local sporting event with alum that support the same team

How it works:

You’ll submit a short application outlining your proposed activity, including a description, estimated group size and location. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Funds are intended for UBC Sauder alumni, and each event must include a minimum of five alumni to be eligible. Alumni organizers are responsible for planning and managing event logistics, including tracking RSVPs. Before you apply, be sure to review the terms and conditions to make sure your event qualifies.
