04. KPMG’s ACE THE CASE PROGRAM
KPMG’s Ace the Case Program starts with a 2-day case writing workshop held in each of our national KPMG offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montréal. Ace the Case is designed to teach you valuable tools such as how to plan, write and debrief a case, which will help you succeed at school, in competitions, and even later in your professional career.
The competition will have three levels and the first will be a regional competition. The top team from each session of Ace the Case will move on to compete against each other in the National finals. The winning team at the National finals will be given the honour of representing Canada at the KPMG International Business Case Competition in Hong Kong from April
18th to 20th, 2012.
Aside from being helpful to anyone in business, case-writing skills are even more important for aspiring CAs as they are crucial to success on the UFE—the toughest part of the CA process. Whether you’re already a skilled case writer, or have never written a case before, attending Ace the Case will give you the opportunity to see first hand what a winning UFE preparation course is like, and meet a leading UFE preparation professional: Bruce Densmore of Densmore Consulting
Services Inc. Bruce has helped thousands of successful UFE candidates
from KPMG pass the final hurdle in one of the world’s toughest
professional examinations.
Ace the Case also provides a great opportunity to mix and mingle with some of our amazing KPMG people and learn what makes us one of the leading professional services firms.
