  • Nicholas Chan

    President

    Nicholas is a fourth-year Accounting student at the Sauder School of Business. This is his second year with the UBC Accounting Club and he is more than excited to work with his team this year. Outside of school, he’s always planning for a get-away trip with his family or friends, exploring and searching for unique food locations.

  • Victor Chen

    Vice-President

    Victor is a fourth year student at the Sauder School of Business specializing in Accounting. After attending many UBCAC events, Victor decided to go into accounting and was able to meet many professionals which ultimately led to an internship at the Big4. As Co-Vice President this year, Victor looks forward to working with the rest of the UBCAC team to provide students with networking opportunities. Outside of school, you can find Victor in the gym or playing volleyball!

  • Alan Zhou

    Vice-President

    Alan is going into his fourth and final year at Sauder, specializing in Accounting and was previously the Social-Charity director for the club. After attending the UBC Accounting Club’s annual First and Second Year Night, Alan learned all about the world of accounting and was inspired to pursue it as a career, which has led to a summer internship at KPMG. Outside of classes Alan loves playing Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, and running!

  • Jade Wu

    Treasurer

    Jade is a third-year Accounting student specializing in Accounting. This is her third year being a part of the UBC Accounting Club, and she is looking forward to working with a new executive team, and to further build her connections within the Sauder community through the club’s events. Outside of school, Jade is probably binge-watching The Office or Friends on Netflix, finding new restaurants to try, or online shopping.

  • Candice Lee

    Administrative Director

    Candice is a third year student specializing in accounting. She is very excited to be a part of UBC Accounting Club and cannot wait for the opportunities and exciting events that lie ahead. She is responsible for sending out the weekly UBCAC newsletters and hopes to meet every single individual on the mailing list! Candice considers herself a professional exotic library explorer and an avid stuffed animal collector

  • Janice Chen

    Visual Media Director

    Janice is a second year student at the Sauder School of Business. In first year, Janice attended UBC Accounting Club events where she became inspired by industry professionals and speakers to pursue a double specialization in Accounting and Marketing. As the Visual Media Director, she hopes to encourage creativity and collaboration within the club. Outside of school, Janice is a passionate photographer who can frequently be found either at a park taking photos or at a café enjoying a cup of Matcha Tea Latte.

  • Vaibhav Aggarwal

    External Events Director

    Vaibhav Aggarwal is a second (going into third) – year student intending to specialize in Accounting. As an External Events Director he works with the rest of the team to organise some of the club’s largest events. Through his role Vaibhav aims to establish connections both in the school and surrounding communities while developing his own professional skillset. Outside of school, Vaibhav is a Class-A Netflix Binger (Friends, HIMYM, B99), a budding cook and spends the other 90% of his time with family and friends.

  • Amy Wong

    1st - Year Representative

    Amy is a first-year student at the Sauder School of Business. As a new member of the UBC Accounting Club, Amy is excited to work alongside like-minded individuals in planning events with amazing opportunities for students to learn more about the accounting industry. When Amy isn’t at school, you can find her playing basketball or exploring the outdoors.

  • Hubert Wong

    2nd - Year Representative

    Hubert is a second-year student planning on specializing in Accounting. He plans on expanding his knowledge of the accounting field by helping plan amazing events for the UBC community and is excited to work and learn from the executive team. Outside of classes, Hubert enjoys swimming and hanging out with friends.

  • Christine Hall

    External Events Director

    Christine is a second-year student at the Sauder School of Business. Last year Christine was the First-Year Representative for the UBC Accounting Club and is excited to return this year as an External Events Director. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and network in the accounting world. Within her role in the UBCAC Christine is hoping she can help provide students with the opportunity to explore accounting and build connections with industry professionals. While not in school, Christine enjoys a variety of recreational sports and spending time with her friends and family.

  • David Ng

    External Events Director

    David is a third-year student at the Sauder School of Business intending to specialize in Accounting. This is going to be his first year working with the UBC Accounting Club and he is very excited for the opportunities that lie ahead of him. As one of the external events directors, David is looking forward to creating impactful events that help inform students about the accounting industry. Outside of school, you can find David playing any sport out there, supporting his Toronto Raptors, or spending time with his dog.

    Social / Charity Director

    Liam is a forth year student specializing in accounting. As a member of the UBC Accounting Club, he is excited to connect individuals in the accounting industry and the community through fundraising socials and events while working alongside the tremendous talents of the team. When he’s not at school, you can find him taking pictures around the city or hanging out with friends at car meets!

  • Casey Tin

    Social / Charity Director

    Casey is a fourth-year student at the Sauder School of Business. This year, she is looking forward to working with the enthusiastic and hardworking team of UBCAC, and hopes to contribute new and exciting ideas as the new Social Charity Director. Outside of school, Casey is passionate about fitness and adventure. You can often find her out exploring the city or at Whistler doing alpine sports.

  • Yuri Choi

    3rd & 4th-Year Representative

    Yuri is a third-year student at the Sauder School of Business specializing in Accounting. This being her first year with the UBC Accounting Club, Yuri is extremely excited to be working alongside an incredible team and meeting diverse individuals within the community. As the 3rd/4th Year Representative, Yuri will be striving towards forming deeper connections between students, mid-sized firms, and CPABC to ensure that students have access to a multitude of information sessions, networking opportunities, and other events. She hopes to elevate students’ experiences and help them achieve their personal and professional goals. Outside of school, Yuri is an avid baker and bookworm who loves kayaking, spending time with her friends and family, and entertaining her dog.

  • Jochen Hsia

    Marketing Director

    Jochen is a third year at the Sauder School of Business where he intends to make a mark in marketing. He is really excited to work with this amazing team on promoting events and helping UBCAC’s members succeed in their chosen field in accounting. If you cannot find him in school, he’s probably not in school. You might, however, find him in some bbt shop hiding behind his MacBook.
