Ji Eun Kim
Ji Eun is a determined fourth year student at the Sauder School of Business specializing in Accounting. She has been with the club for 3 years and is excited to carry on the legacy of the club for the upcoming year. Outside of school and work, she enjoys playing the piano, working out at they gym, and catching up with friends and families. Ji Eun is excited to see and witness the impact and difference she can make to the members of the club, sponsors, and our local community!
Janelle is a driven third year student at the Sauder School of Business. As the Co-Vice President, Janelle is committed to strengthening her connections to the student body and community. As of May 2018, Janelle is a Summer Intern for KPMG in their Audit and Assurance practice. With her insight gained from public practice and value for relationship building, Janelle is excited to work alongside her team to coordinate impactful events throughout the year. Outside of school, Janelle has a passion for humanitarian work and is active in youth-led initiatives both locally and globally. In her spare time, Janelle may be queen of the courts when it comes to volleyball, but she also loves a good old game of ultimate frisbee.
Samantha is an ambitious fourth-year student specializing in Accounting at the Sauder School of Business. As the Treasurer, she acts as the Accountant of the Accounting Club by managing the club’s financial activities and working with sponsors and partner organizations. Samantha’s past experience as an External Events Director gave her insight into the planning and administration of a successful, value-added event for students. As of January 2018, Samantha has been completing an eight month Co-op term at KPMG, working in both Audit and Tax. Along with her teammates, Samantha hopes to foster a collective passion for Accounting, while combating the stereotypes of Accountants being no more than boring math nerds. Outside of school, Samantha’s passions include singing opera, and crying over Grey’s Anatomy.
Sarah is a motivated third year student at the Sauder School of Business specializing in Accounting. As one of the Social/Charity Directors in the past year, she enjoyed organizing various events and charitable initiatives to give back to the local community. As of May 2018, Sarah is a Summer Intern at Deloitte in their Audit & Assurance group. Outside of school and work, you can find her watching drama, taking long naps, hitting the gym or trying out new recipes. Sarah is looking forward to another exciting year with the UBC Accounting Club!
External Events Director
John is a third year student at the Sauder School of Business. As a member of the External Events team, John is looking forward to working alongside the team to create impactful events that will provide students an opportunity to discover their passions. Outside of campus, you can find John on the court playing volleyball, working out, or whipping up a masterpiece in the kitchen.

Victor is a third year student at the Sauder School of Business specializing in Accounting and Business Technology Management. In second year, Victor decided to do accounting after attending numerous UBC Accounting Club events, where he was able to meet industry professionals who taught him more about the field of accounting. This year, as one of the External Events Directors, Victor hopes to provide students with the same learning opportunities by organizing fun and informative networking events. Outside of school, you can find Victor in the gym or playing volleyball!
External Events Director
Jade is a second year student at the Sauder School of Business intending to specialize in Accounting. As one of the External Events Directors, she works alongside her team to organize some of the club’s main events throughout the summer and school year. She hopes to use this opportunity to build and strengthen her connections with the student body and community. Outside of school, Jade loves to binge-watch shows on Netflix (mostly The Office), try new restaurants, and spend time with friends and family.
Brandon is a third year student at the Sauder School of Business. This year, Brandon looks forward to connecting and meeting with all the Accounting Club members! As the Marketing Director, Brandon will be keeping the Club’s social media alive and the members updated on the latest and greatest news in accounting. Beyond the walls of Sauder, Brandon loves to listen to music, watch TV, eat good food and try to exercise.
Visual Media Director
Judy is a fourth-year student at the UBC Sauder School of Business. As the Visual Media Director, she is in charge of getting the creative juices flowing in the team! Judy is also currently having tons of fun interning at KPMG in their Enterprise Audit group. In the fall, she will be going on exchange to Edinburgh, so make sure to ask her all about it when you see her at events! Outside of school, Judy is a passionate piano instructor, self proclaimed foodie, and a professional annoyer to her dog, Cookie.
Social Charity Director
Alan is a third year student specializing in accounting at the UBC Sauder School of Business. As one of the social charity directors, Alan is looking forward to giving back to the local community through hosting different fundraising socials and events. In his free time, Alan is an avid follower of the NBA and loves spending time with friends and family.

Tamara is a third-year student at the Sauder School of Business, and is excited to be joining the team as one of the Social Charity Directors! This year, she is looking forward to working with charities whose values align with the club to plan fun and engaging events. In doing so, she hopes to help make a difference with their local philanthropic initiatives, while also strengthen the UBCAC community. Outside of school and work, you can find Tamara exploring BC’s great outdoors and remaining optimistic about the Canucks’ playoff contentions.
3rd/4th Year Representative
Harris is a proactive fourth-year student at the Sauder School of Business specializing in Accounting. Returning to the UBC Accounting Club for a second year, he is excited to further grow the club and help connect students to the accounting industry. In his new role as the 3rd & 4th Year Representative, Harris will be looking to bridge members to midsize firms and CPABC through information sessions, networking events, and other opportunities. Beyond the classroom walls, you can find Harris painting in the outdoors, attempting to entertain his pet dog, Scott, or reliving his basketball prime in the UBC Intramural League.
Nicholas is a third-year student at the Sauder School of Business specializing in Accounting and BTM. After attending various events in his first and second year, he decided to join UBCAC to be on the executive team. As the Administrative Director, he is in charge of venue bookings, UBCAC Newsletters, ticket sales, as well as dealing with questions relating to any of the upcoming events. Outside of school, he loves exploring new places to eat out with his close friends and family. Occasionally, he hits the gym, hikes, or plays basketball whenever his double or triple chin appears.
