Samantha Lavin

Samantha is an ambitious fourth-year student specializing in Accounting at the Sauder School of Business. As the Treasurer, she acts as the Accountant of the Accounting Club by managing the club’s financial activities and working with sponsors and partner organizations. Samantha’s past experience as an External Events Director gave her insight into the planning and administration of a successful, value-added event for students. As of January 2018, Samantha has been completing an eight month Co-op term at KPMG, working in both Audit and Tax. Along with her teammates, Samantha hopes to foster a collective passion for Accounting, while combating the stereotypes of Accountants being no more than boring math nerds. Outside of school, Samantha’s passions include singing opera, and crying over Grey’s Anatomy.
